code-server, Caddy, Tailscale, and Hugo = My ultimate dev environment

I think I’ve discovered my development environment equivalent to nirvana. code-server fronted by Caddy on a box with Tailscale installed. I maintain a lot of Hugo websites. Hugo has been my go-to content management system (CMS) since discovering it in 2017 (I got my first Hugo site at GopherCon 2017). I’ve lost count of the number of domains I own (a common nerd problem). But, I know I have a handful of websites I update regularly....

There were a lot of reasons I started writing a newsletter back in 2016. Having worked at a few organizations whose business was sending millions of emails a day, one thing is for sure: Mail is hard and not for the faint of heart. DNS is Awesome

There are so many cool things about DNS one drawing is not going to do it justice. Please let this drawing serve as an inspiration to learn more about DNS. DNS is awesome because it allows you to have a full blown CDN for next to nothing. All you have to do is create a CNAME that points to Amazon S3.
